Privacy policy

This policy explains what emailfortify.com collects and why.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, name (optional), password hash or Google account ID.
• Addresses you check: the addresses and lists you submit, and our results.
• Billing: PayPal subscription IDs and status. We never see your card details.
• Usage: credit usage, and privacy-friendly page analytics without advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded lists and their results: deleted 30 days after upload, or when you delete them.
• Single-address results: cached for up to 30 days under a one-way hash of the address, so repeat checks are fast. The cache can’t be searched by address.
• Account data: until you ask us to delete your account.

What we do with addresses you check

Only verify them. To check a mailbox we ask its mail server whether it would accept mail; no message is sent to the address. We never email, sell or share the addresses you check.

Your rights

You can export or delete your lists at any time, and ask us to delete your account through the contact form.
