Acceptable use policy
Last updated 2026-10
Email verification helps people keep honest lists clean. It must not help anyone send unwanted email.
You may not
- Verify addresses that were bought, rented, scraped or harvested, or that you otherwise have no lawful basis to email.
- Use results to send spam or to guess addresses (e.g. trying name variations at a company).
- Try to get around credit limits, rate limits or bot checks, including with multiple free accounts.
- Use the service to probe, attack or overload mail servers.
Enforcement
We watch for patterns that suggest list harvesting or spam, and suspend accounts that break this policy, without refund. Report abuse through the contact form.
